Surprisingly, all of these details work well together mainly because of the monochromatic palette. There are so many ideas to steal from this one image:
1. The wallpaper adds instant drama to this entryway.
2. The fuchsia lampshades add fun and sophistication.
3. A patterned table looks pricey when adorned with nailhead trim (double dose of detail).
4. The striped flooring says that you are daring and delightful.
5. The painted mirror frame says you have a keen eye for color.
All the examples in this article are clever ways to draw attention to your designs. In what way have you given attention to detail in your home?

Pink! This console table is tres chic...that pattern is to die for and the lamps are certainly beautiful. Perhaps it would look less heavy with pink sconces?
Such a great way to use pattern on a table. Great pattern mixing.

I love everything about this! The fabric covered console with upholstery tacks, the scenic wallpaper, the striped rug, the small mirror, the red and black lamps. Very, very creative!

The pink floral console has an edge with its nail head trim, and sets the tone for the other choices in the vignette. Pink is repeated with dramatic style on the shades, flowers and striped rug.
