Do you have any suggestions for purchasing the wallpaper? - I don't need as much as the minimum purchase requires, but I would be willing to purchase extra rolls or share an order. »
Elizabeth Reich Try working with your interior designer, he or she may be able to help you. I once only needed 8 rolls and since they had a broken order, they were able to sell me only the 8 rolls that I needed.

Elizabeth Reich Hi, I don't remember the height but you need to hang it so that those using the bathroom will be able to see themselves. (kids may need slightly lower). but if it tilts like this one it helps. thanks!
Love the picture frame wainscoting. Is there a rule for size and shape? - I see that the rectangles above the sink are smaller. Are all the larger rectangles the same size? »
Elizabeth Reich Hi, thank you. The only rule I followed here was 4" between them. The rectangles above the sink are smaller by necessity. The rectangles on the opposite wall are all the same height and width. I chose to have a high chair rail rather than lower, which is more typical.
Elizabeth Reich Thank you! The toilet was from Kohler, "Memoirs" collection. I love the architectural shape of it, and the detail on the top and base. You can see the collection here:

Elizabeth Reich Thank you. This bathroom is approximately 7.5' x 4.5' with a 9' ceiling height. I drew elevations to design the placement of the chair rail and picture moulding. I wanted a taller chair rail height, but wanted it to be beneath the sconces and mirror placement. 5' high was what it ended up being.
I am considering using a printed or striped grass cloth wall covering in our powder room. Is grass cloth considered to be an up-to-date design feature? Our house is three years old and generally traditional. I want it to look classic but a little modern. Thanks. »
Charmean Neithart Interiors, LLC. I would say yes. I love grasscloth and use it all the time. In my design book grasscloth is classic and can be traditional or modern. I think color selection is important when you are trying to avoid things looking dated. Here are some finished rooms with grasscloth. Hope this helps you. Let me know if you need further information about vendors or color selection.

Elizabeth Reich I love grasscloth, the texture really makes a room cozy. You can keep it classic by staying with a neutral so that you don't tire of it. I've done a bold patterned glasscloth in a powder room before, in a dark sage with cream pattern and it came out beautifully. Phillip Jeffries is my favorite go-to source but there are others. Good luck!
Elizabeth Reich These are wood floors. I have a tile floor in the other bathroom of this project that looks like wood, if you are going for that look. We used a herringbone pattern.
Contrast light and dark. "I wanted something fresh, graphic and unexpected," says Elizabeth Reich of Jenkins Baer Associates. And she got it with this Moroccan-inspired pattern and the contrast of light and dark. "The ebony-stained floors pick up the espresso in the wallpaper," she points out.Grass cloth: Phillip Jeffries
