Becky Harris I'm sorry, I have no idea of the exact color, but I believe I read it was "gold spray paint" at some point; I think you can get the exact same look if you just hit the hardware store and ask for that.
alliegee Thank you, you just made my life a little easier.
I have been debating painting my entire dining room furniture (buffet/hutch and sideboard) charcoal or whitish maybe,,,,but the charcoal sounds like the winner. Again,,,Thanks
poorgirl Anne, I am also in need of painting my kitchen table and chairs, I was originally looking at black but after reading your comments, I would love to see your charcoal table, could you post it and advise what colour you used.
Great appreciate your advise on painting with latex.
im looking to paint my chairs that looks exactly like these, do i need to sand or prime first b/f i spray ? - i am just curious of the process of getting an even paint job? thank you!! »
Take a good look at this furniture. I wish I had a before picture, as I'm sure that table and those chairs were completely mundane and depressing in their former lives. What a difference spray paint in unexpected colors can make!
Painted the same color as the wall, the box molding is not a distraction for the large patterned wallpaper it frames. The result is big on drama.
More ways with molding:
Molding: Add Texture by Detailing Your Detail
Like the idea of wallpaper but not willing to commit to an entire wall? Framed wallpaper panels are a great solution. Paint the frames the same color as the wall to give the panels the effect of molding.
Do you have a traditional wood dining table and chairs? Consider your set to be the new source of bold color! All it takes is paint: choose different shades for the table and chairs for contrast. Consider painting your walls a complementary color to finish the look.
Dining table. If you want to get the kids to the dinner table, make it enticing! A dining table painted in high-gloss may not get them to eat their vegetables, but at least it will be a treat for the eyes.

Jan could pull a color from her living room pillows and paint the table in that color in a high gloss finish. Keep chairs dark wood for sophtcation or paint white to be bright and cheerful. And of course change seat cushions in a pattern.
