Lucy McLintic The stove and cooktop at GE Monogram and the fridge and dishwasher are LG. The hood (which is hidden) is by Best.

A single wall oven set in a base cabinet under a cooktop is also an option, but be careful — not every combination of this setup works with every manufacturer. You need to make sure there's room for the cooktop to fit above the oven.

Updating the kitchen similar to this would be great. I don't like the tile back splash. I do like the tall cabinets for lots of storage. I also like the solid counter tops, no speckles, a clean smooth color.
