we have undercabinet lighting in our new kitchen. it's wonderful. it works on a dimmer as well so you can use it as a nightlight. the light is LED and lasts longer than most other kinds.
they're Kichler. since we had them installed, there have been updates--so you may want to check at your lighting store and see what works best for you. ours has a dimmer too.
Color accents are great. Use of tricolor and subtle patterns... Note the black accents in the marble tabletop are accentuated by the use of black handles and knobs.
Creamy white cabinets are a great way to brighten up a kitchen while also adding warmth and style. Here, instead of using snow white cabinetry, off-white was used which is more in harmony with the golden tan countertops and backsplash.
