This wonderful Vecta Ballet series folding table desk was designed by Douglas Ball, a Herman Miller designer who revolutionized typical office furniture. Vecta is a subsidiary of Steelcase that specializes in high-end furniture and was founded in 1959 with a desire to infuse the concept of industrial elegance into furnishings for the business environment. The Ballet is a versatile table series that provides solutions for a variety of applications. Industrial elegance in a folding table. Excellent for conference, training, workplace, dining, and utility applications. The table is in great condition, with no visible scratches on the desk top surface and few minor blemishes on its legs. One of the roller wheels will need to be replaced, but it's completely stable as-is. There are instructions on the underside that show how to fold/unfold table. This is the K-base version with die cast aluminum legs and the top is a 1" thick multi-ply wood core with light grey laminate. Edges of the table are ribbed black rubber vinyl. The table also features a removable modesty panel with horizontal wire management trough, which can be used to conceal the included power strip and cables. Legs of the table can be folded inwards for easier storage when not in use.
