Art Installation for Grace Restaurant to further Enhance the sense of WINTER- Moroccan Selenite
This piece is a mineral called Selenite and it is a crystalline variety of Gypsum from Morocco. It's name comes from the Greek word for Moon.
Selenite was chosen for it's transparency and layered, chiseled form. Reminiscent of a chunk of ice.
