Need help choosing a paint colour for my kitchen - My cupboards are dark brown »
Siemasko + Verbridge hanks for your question Jolicious. Choosing a color for any room can be a daunting process. We try to stay away from suggesting colors on here because so much can come into play. There are many variables that can change the tone and look of the actual color, such as lighting and its surroundings, especially in a kitchen! You can't go wrong with other neutral colors and earth tones if you are already working with dark brown cupboards. However, dark brown can be an easy base color to work with if you want to add stronger colors to the space such as a red. Always go with what you like, find a range of colors and do a couple test patches in the space. Leave for a week or two and see how they work with the natural and artificial light in the room. You might be surprised to find yourself growing attached to one of the colors naturally. Good luck!
Your house - In going through pictures for the first time, I named my selections "Forlyn". I wrote comments on each picture I selected and then hit saved. I cannot find the a saved picture with my comments. Can you help »
Siemasko + Verbridge Hi Forlyn.. I'm not sure if we can help you with what you need exactly. I would try to re-select your images and save again and see if that works. If not I would contact the Houzz tech service and see if they can help.

Siemasko + Verbridge Thanks for your question. Soapstone comes in a common color of grayish/green, depending on what your local stone place has. Oiled soapstone will always be darker, which is what these counter tops are.

Siemasko + Verbridge Thanks for your question about the stain, Sbriglio and Njorgensen. The stain was created on site and we don't have documentation on the stain formula.
I love the faucet. Can you please tell me the model or where to buy? Thanks! - I love the faucet. Can you please tell me the model or where to buy? Thanks! »
susan329 Thanks 1sreynolds. I don't think these are from Pottery Barn. They seem to have a more graceful shape, perhaps a rolled lip and longer S shaped hooks. More similar to the ones from Circa Lighting or JVI.
Siemasko + Verbridge I don't believe they do for the convection microwave drawer, but they do have a model that you can pick a custom color. Hope that helps!
Siemasko + Verbridge The client is very happy with them, so they are holding up well! I also want to point out the the island counter top is walnut and the other counter tops are soapstone.
This kitchen is not even close to feeling like a morgue; the tooled legs on the island, cottage-style windows and recessed-panel cabinets take care of that. But the dark wood floors and the area rugs make it truly warm. I love Persian rugs in a wood and white kitchen.More: The case for wood countertopsBrowse white kitchen photos
