Tip 2: Forget what you thought you knew about scale.A guest room in the River Road Cottage uses a bed that fills the space nearly wall to wall but manages to look cozy rather than cramped. Think about it — once you are tucked in, wouldn't you be more comfortable in a full bed than a shrimpy twin, even if the twin made the room look more spacious?
Keep the scale large. In a tiny room, even a double or queen-size bed will feel massive, and oversize scale translates to a feeling of comfort and warmth. You'll need enough room to walk on either side, so don't squeeze it in too tightly.
This is a rental in Los Angeles. I work in publicity at a TV network and take acting classes at night. I have a boyfriend, but he seems unwilling to commit. I'm originally from outside Chicago.

walls as book cases......i love the idea but would want it to look less homey....the book cases i bought for my room from home hardward that are installed...... GREAT beginning look for the room
I like the bookshelf. It fits perfectly in the small space. Especially great for people who love to read and bring the work into the bedroom. Love this!
Perhaps would work in small guest bedroom. Iron bed keeps the lines clean and the clutter down plus we have so many books! The closet could be converted to a built in desk & small closet space.
