A cramped and dated kitchen was completely removed. New custom cabinets, built-in wine storage and shelves came from the same shop. Quartz waterfall counters were installed with all-new flooring, LED light fixtures, plumbing fixtures and appliances. A new sliding pocket door provides access from the dining room to the powder room as well as to the backyard. A new tankless toilet as well as new finishes on floor, walls and ceiling make a small powder room feel larger than it is in real life.
What is the greatest depth of these shelves? - I am needing floating shelves at least 16" deep 18" would be ideal. I am wanting it to store my light weight 15lb. HP printer.
Any guidance? »
W. David Seidel, AIA - Architect There are similar shelves like these in stores, that attach with drywall anchors and should hold only lightweight items. The shelves in this photo were custom made by the millworker and are anchored to the studs with concealed steel angles. The deeper your shelf, the sturdier it needs to be because of the greater leverage.
