he wood is Genuine Honduran Mahogany which is naturally resistant to decay. It is finished with Sikkens Cetol SRD 250, an oil and alkyd resin finish. It does need to be maintained (approx. every 18 months) depending on exposure, but if you stay on top of it, the maintenance is pretty straightforward. AND stucco exterior
