Not your typical mugs, this set keeps you guessing. If you're not sure how to hold the fine bone china pieces, it might be best to get another set in case they break; these Stockholm Quaker Mugs, sheer when held against the light, are made of very thin clay.

Design House Stockholm Quake Mug's

A mug of thin clay, shaken to randomly form its own unique shape, a combination of craft and random impact. The shape makes the user aware of his or her actions; how to hold the mug, how to drink?

The Quake mugs for Design House Stockholm are made of real bone china, with its characteristic whiteness and transparency that becomes clear when held against the light. The inside of the mugs are covered with thin transparent glaces by hand, a technique that creates sheer shades in the surface.
