Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co. The white sink is a Shaws apron front sink by Rohl. While the depth of the cabinet is standard, the cabinet itself is not. The cabinetry is custom-made and required additional strength to support this very heavy sink (about 200 lbs!). Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co. I do not know the answer to your question. You could make a full-size mock-up on paper on your floor and see how it looks. Note the doors in front of the chairs so you can access corner storage, which is a very affordable solution as compared with specialized kitchen hardware (and it is very practical too).

Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co. It is slate. The homeowner wanted it badly but the stone fabricator strongly discouraged it - there are more seams in it than you'd find with other stone and it chips. It feels wonderful - when you're in the kitchen, you can't get your hands off of it. Over time as predicted, it got chips. After about 10 years, the homeowner still loves it but would caution others against installing it.

Sarah Dreyer Design Oh thanks! The countertops are actually slate, not granite. The material has proved to be a little fragile and I don't think I would recommend it o a client but I do love it despite its faults. It as such a nice soft look and it feels beautiful. It's not for everyone but I'm glad I have it.

Sarah Dreyer Design That window is 9 feet long and 3 feet high. I seriously considered putting cabinets to the right of the sink but decided that the extra light and openness was more important, and I'm so glad that I did. The two side windows are operable, and I keep them open quite a bit, I love lots of fresh air. I have birdfeeders just outside and my kids love watching the bird activity while they eat breakfast. The windows are Marvin with upgraded Rocky Mountain Hardware.
