my name is nasim,I am M.A. student in university of arts in iran, tehran, on hanicrafts major.
I had seen your ceramic lanterns & it was so pleasure to me because I`m researching about ceramic lanterns & think you can help me about my research.
I would greatly appreciate an early reply to this matter. »
Lucy Interior Design Hi the ceramic lanterns are made of clay and fired with a white glaze. They are pierced to make the open design. We placed a candle glass votive inside and the illumination flickers between the openings. The lid comes off to place the glass votive inside. Good Luck with your studies. Lucy
Lucy Interior Design Hi I wish I had an easy answer. This was a custom cabinet that was inspired by my trip to Morocco for cooking school. We sketched it out and our cabinet maker made it. We do love it. I am sure your cabinetmaker can work the magic! Good luck!

Lucy Interior Design Hello! The arches are part of the vanity. It is a custom designed vanity. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Cheers, Lucy.
The blue Moroccan bathroom downstairs is one of Penfield's favorite spaces in the house; it was inspired by a recent trip to Marrakech. "The hunt-and-gather process for furniture is my favorite," she says. "I love to pull from travels — hence the Moroccan-inspired tile wall. I had just returned from a two-week culinary adventure in Morocco, and the colbalt blue was everywhere"Accent wall: Waterworks; vanity: custom, painted Super White, Benjamin Moore; floor tile: Waterworks concrete, Blue Note; wall sconces: custom
I love the use of Moroccan-inspired arches in this vanity design. The crisp white vanity feels modern and fresh against the dark tiles. Notice how mysterious the lamps feel with a hint of light shining through the lacy pattern.
The custom-designed molding applied on the front of this vanity makes for a real statement piece, which is set off beautifully by the lit jars on top. You might check out millwork stores to find interesting moldings if you want to re-create this idea.
LOVE this bathroom idea.... not sure if those tiles are black or navy, but I would defo have them as navy. Those lanterns complete the look, and the arch detail at the front.
