Stonebreaker Builders & Remodelers These are brazilian walnut hardwood floors. I love to use hardwood in the bathroom because I think it warms the space in a way that tile cannot. However, you do need to be cautious getting out of the shower, etc. so water is not sitting on the floor. But, a good bath mat, good ventilation, and commitment to being careful should prevent problems.

Stonebreaker Builders & Remodelers Hi, the countertop is Calcutta Gold marble. I have not had any problems with marble in the bathroom. In the kitchen you do have to be careful. Acidic things like limes will eat away the polish. If something like coffee drips on the counter and you aren't able to clean it up fairly quickly it will leave a spot. But marble is sooooooo pretty!

like how there is a window above the sink and makeup vanity. Eliminates the need for window covering, and still lets natural light into the bath room. Wouldn't need the other sink on the opposing wall for our needs.
