Jennifer Bishop Design Here is what the homeowner said:
"for the 2x6 frames on the top an bottom just the regular wood that those come in, as well as the 2x4 posts that support the pedestals - just the standard wood that those are normally made for - nothing special.
For the wood that covers the frame, I used MDF, but any wood would be just fine as long as the base is built strong enough"
Jennifer Bishop Design I'm guessing a 1:1 would just be equal parts of white and the color. I know I've done this for some of my clients and it gives you this sort of lightness. Maybe they can make you a test pint first. Hope that helps!
Washer and dryer platforms. This laundry room has both beauty and function. The washer and dryer pedastals were custom built to house laundry baskets. The even better part of this amazingly functional idea is that there are building plans for this project on Ana White.Photo courtesy of Sweet Pickins

Build laundry pedestals to stash laundry baskets under the washer and dryer. Take out the small closet wall to open up the whole space in the laundry/mud room and transform that space into a locker/cubby/shoe storage area. Add open shelving across the whole upper side of the room and a rolling ladder to access high storage shelves.
