robert kelly this is a painted wood bracket. I gave the contractor the full size shape on paper that I designed and he had it cut at the lumber store. the brackets on the island and cabinets i also designed, but were made by the cabinet maker
phedlin Can you please tell me if you used bullnose or some sort of pencil liner at edges where backsplash meets wall and areas where the backsplash wasn't topped off by a cabinet? Thank you!
robert kelly I typically try to frame the tile to avoid edge pieces. We did not have any outside corners here. If there is an end I usually fir out the back and round the corner with 1/4 round or terminate into wood trim. The photo shows both. I avoid seeing the thin tile edge.
Yellow wall - Dear Robert Kelly - could you please share the exact color/brand of yellow paint? I'm having so much trouble finding the right shade/tint. »
You know that stove HAS six burners, right? - It's one of the deluxe-sized ones (if you've ever shopped for a refurbished antique stove, you'd recognize its distinctive shape, as it goes with an extremely distinctive price tag). If you look at the first photo with that stove (the chrome and white), you can see all six burners. »
