Julie Loves Home No. For one, the walls are painted and the doors appear to be stained. It's always difficult to tell from a single photo, but the walls look like a gray-chocolate color with purple undertones and the doors stained a deep mahogany.
Cheryl Barnes My mom painted the outside of her house this color and it was a big disappointment. It turned out to be a yellowy brown and was extremely Garish!!! It did not look like the color chip we looked at. Beware of this color... Get a gallon and test it first. Good luck...Jill
In this space, the brown wall color firmly anchors all of the eclectic design elements.
Tip: Not all browns are created equally. This color can have red, gray and even purple undertones. Select a shade that complements your space. For example, if your room has cherry wood furniture or flooring, then a reddish-brown might work best.
