I don't think that there's any better place for limestone in the home than in the bathroom. Take a look at that limestone shower and tell me that you don't agree! It provides a natural feeling for spa-like decadence.
Th shower has small ceramic tiles on the walls, medium-small granite tiles on the ceiling and stone on the outside. Also, the green cabinets with creamy granit sink tops are stunning!
i love this bathroom and i want it all to myself. this is not a men's retreat after a long day at work. room for one only! the chandelier is a must, as are the chairs by the tub. i'm not in love with the vanity. i need functional pieces to help minimize my attraction to clutter. a little pink wouldn't hurt-- it could meald with the colors in the stone.
This space is a mix of textures that I love. The floor in front of the vanity is hand scraped walnut in random widths. The floor of the "princess platform" where the tub is located is a honed marble, so it has a matte finish. The shower is covered in 1"x1" Jerusalem stone, which is a limestone. The countertop is honed limestone with a marble shelf behind it of tiny polished mosaic.
The space is very soothing with calm, warm colors.
