How do you support the weight of the bar? - I understand that you used Ceasarstone for the raised bar. How are you supporting the weight without any brackets. My contractor is telling me that they need wing walls. If I did that, it would cover up the inside legs of the bar which I would prefer to be polished stone like what you did here. »
jamesthomas, LLC The countertop is supported by as structural wall (the wall the is clad in tile) underneath. It is also supported by the vertical slab material on either side of the countertop. The counter overhangs (on the sink side) by @ 6" and on the stool side by @ 12" - so is balanced and supported by the structural wall underneath.
