Why can’t tables be more like light bulbs and underwear? You know ... easy to change.
Introducing re|Surface - a table with modular reversible slats that release with a gentle upward push, then hold with a firm magnetic grip when returned back in any order to the steel frame - for a tabletop that changes on a dime, yet remains sturdy over time.
The re-arrangeable tabletop of every re|Surface table is composed of 16 magnetically modular slats. Each slat is reversible, with 2 distinctly different sides made from reclaimed & re-purposed woods. These 32 different sides allow thousands of potential combinations.
re|Surface comes with 16 slats in it's re-arrangeable tabletop, in the following standard combination ->> 6 Slats - side A: salvaged solid acacia wood / side B: salvaged oak ... 4 Slats - salvaged rustic pallet woods with distressed color finish / side B: salvaged oak, and ... 6 Slats - side A: vintage wood crates (showing fragments of original branding and/or typography) / side B: salvaged oak.
For further customization, a wide menu of additional re|Surface slats are available to mix & match for any interior. These slats are produced in unique sets of 2 or 4, and made from a eclectic variety of materials, such as exotic hardwoods, old vintage crates, vintage wood puzzles, and much more.
At 48" long x 20" wide x 16" tall, reSurface is about the size of a standard
coffee table - which might be the only average thing about it.
