Aquascape Inc. The aquatic plant on the right side of the pond and in front of the chair is Pickerel Rush. The terrestial plants outside of the pond were not planted by us. We installed the pond and the aquatic plants.
Laura Powell Hi gtotogo, the plant in back is a pine tree. Maybe a snow pine. The green one in front of it on the rocks is an Acer Palmatum, Japanese Maple. They grow to be about 10' high and also come in redish burgundy colors. They do pretty will in shade to part shade. To the left of it looks like a lily or grass. Reeds do well near ponds too and water Irises. I like Cyperus, umbrella plant but they need containment because they spread.
What are the names of plants used in the water feature? - We are starting over on an old koi pond at our just-purchased home. Need help with plants to put in. Thanks so much! »

Tip: When creating your own outdoor retreat, it's important to think about color and how it relates to the overall feel of the area. The calm surrounding greens and browns could be potentially overwhelmed by the chair if it were painted a bright color.
Adirondack chairs are a great option for dotting around a property in special spots. Here one can enjoy the comfy slant while fishing, or even just sitting back and enjoying the splash of the waterfall and the lovely view.
