Sometimes just a little bit of texture is all it takes. Rust-ridden sheet metal not only contains your planting beds, but its appearance will actually change over time. The patina will continue to change the longer it's exposed to the elements.
Like: the combination of concrete and steel, which give rich colour and textures agains the plants
Good for
Easy for a woman to make
Cheap option and do-able in small bite chunks for financing
Like the occasional pop of height and the colors. It's planted pretty tightly, but would work for a smaller area like maybe between band of no mow grass and where we would maybe terrace to left of driveway. The existing small tree there should be removed. It's randomly placed.

Is the Cor-ten embedded into the concrete below? Is that a continuous pour?
If so, how much?
Is the Cor-ten welded to rebar in the concrete? Poured in?
Is is the concrete saw-cut or voided during the pour and the steel slid into the cuts or voids?
I'd really like to try this, so any info you'd be willing to share would be helpful.
