Nora Schneider Interior Design The floor is wide plank oak, that we stained to a medium walnut color. The rug is sisal with leather trim. Hope that helps.
It has been suggested that the TWIG ART could be hand made- just wanting some suggestions as to what would be the best way to join the twigs together so it looks neat and professional...... A glue gun would do the job but I think it would look "tacky" and wouldn't be strong enough..... »
David Ward I did this piece. None of these will work in my opinion. I lay out the sticks in whatever pattern you want then drill each crossing with a small drill 1/6 inch then use a #17 nail with a head that will protrude through the other side then bend the excess over with a pliers. The piece gets really strong after a number of these are attached. Then the heads get painted. Contact me with any other questions you have.
Best,

David Ward I made the piece if anyone is interested. They had a piece on Design On A Dime and it wasn't so easy. Contact me and I can help you.I make them for Michael Taylor Design and sell them directly as well. David Ward
Visibly versatile: This room makes track lighting cool again. Low voltage lights on rails provide overhead illumination. The system's flexibility enables light to be cast in multiple directions to bounce off the lighter tones in the room.
