This downstairs bedroom also had its original ceiling exposed, but in this case I painted it a pale blue.

What color blue did you use on the ceiling? And what color white for the trim? - Paint colors are beautiful. I saw a post where you discussed the greens you chose, but would you also share the color of blue and white? So nicely done!

It's beautiful, crisp yet serene, which is just what I am looking for. I've used pale blue paint several times and I know how difficult it is to get right, especially if you're wildly particular, which I unfortunately am. I will definitely take a look at Woodland White.

Thank you again. I truly appreciate your generosity of spirit. Connecting with marvelous people is what makes the internet the greatest tool on earth.

Also try Quiet Moments, Healing Aloe and Palladian Blue...they are different from each other but all nice. :-)

Elizabeth Hagins: "All the colors are Benjamin Moore. The white is Dove White, my go-to color for trim. It's a soft white and works with any color combination. I really love their Satin Impervo finish, but if you are opposed to an oil-based paint, they make a water based version as well. The pale blue is #463, Woodland White (but it's not white!) It's great for ceilings because it's so pale, but I've also used it a lot for walls as well. What I would suggest is that you buy a sample can first. Blues can be tricky; they change color with the light, and this one changes a lot."
