Castro Design Studio Thank you so much for your kind words. I am really sorry, but I can not recall what the paint color is called. I would suggest that you try a variety of colors on site when your stone is installed. Colors will vary greatly depending on the other colors around them and your lighting situation.

Castro Design Studio The shutters have a simple pivot hinge. They do have a latch to hold them closed if need be.

Castro Design Studio Thanks for writing.

The shutter is on a pivot, and simply "spins" on a center axis. We used a "rixon" brand hinge, but you could get the same results with less expensive hardware.

Love the spinning movable shutter idea GREAT, unique over standard sunbrella curtains. Like the low wall built into the fireplace elevation, with strage for wood underneath. Adds shape and interest. Like the cozy feel.
