Compton traditional-kitchen

Crisp and unfussy, yet keeping in character with the original home’s 1940’s traditional aesthetic, this kitchen addition and whole house interior renovation affords the much needed storage and much desired openness and visual connection between spaces that the previous layout could not provide. Although only a modest 160 additional square feet, the newly extended kitchen blends seamlessly with the existing spaces by repeating existing features including arched details and classic, but simple moldings. Bathrooms were updated to highlight unique vintage charm and repurposed antique cabinetry. An arched copper roof was added to give the front entrance more depth, charm, and function.
