Kitchen French Cottage Style
This kitchen breakfast area with pretty and cheerful window treatments is the owner's favorite spot. Here the newspaper is read in silence and friends enjoy soulful chat with croissants and coffee.
The room features country French cottage decor that is elegant and cheerful. For the window treatments, the owners wanted full light control and for the decorating part, a pretty and inviting valance that would not block the beautiful gardens but rather frame the view outside. The windows valance is artfully created on an arch. We used happy colors and a beautiful pattern. The amber color crystals sparkle as the sun enters the room. The contrast color lining adds visual volume and the buttons are playful as much as classy. The baker's rack showcases French country home decor accessories including family treasures.
Colors are soft and inviting. They include honey lining for the draperies combined with bold floral pattern, cinnamon with cream and bone white chairs. The French country home décor items are elegant, charming and unpretentious.

Marina Klima Goldberg - Klima Design Group I think that keeping all the windows looking at least similar is a good idea. I know that we all love variety but blinds are more functional than decorative. However, you can just do functional draperies on a traverse rod http://esmginc.com/templates/site/select_drapery_hardware.html . I do not see the top of the slider but hope it allows for it. Also, are you using this slider all the time? In the picture above, the owners of the home do not use it so much..no kids or dogs, you know.
