You will have to bring in some color with textiles, rugs, and art. Good news is almost every color looks good with brown. My favorites with brown are orange, lavender, and green.

I think that inspiration photo that Charmean posted above with the blue walls gives you the answer: paint your walls, whether blue or green, or something else, the walls will make your browns look beautiful once your beige is gone. Then add accents of the wall color as suggested above.
