Rasmussen / Su Architects We do like the functionality of the pulls and find them easy to use, even with large drawers. These are Mockett DP3B 4" tab pulls.

Rasmussen / Su Architects there is actually a little over 3 feet between the fridge and island (similar to what you see on the near side between the island and the chalkboard wall)

The family does a lot of cooking and entertaining, so the kitchen was designed to accommodate both. Counter, drawer and cabinet space was high on the priority list, as was a simple and efficient layout. Originally, Su and Rasmussen wanted the chalkboard wall around the mudroom entrance to be used by the girls and their friends, but of course once it was allowed, it quickly lost its appeal. "At some point, we added our own artistic creations," Su says. Don't like the way the upper cabinets and range hood are mounted. Looks like they've just been slapped onto the wall. Perhaps the gap between the cabinets and the ceiling...looks odd to me. This is what I meant by not liking the range hood mounted like it doesn't belong.
