Led lights - Where can I get thee bed with lights glowing under it, I love!!!! »
TRG Architects I just noticed this question and don't think we have answered. This bed was custom designed and fabricated by TRG Architects. Sorry for the delayed response!
TRG Architects TRG Architects' muralist did this project. We would be happy to price your project if you provide information on room dimensions and location. Thanks for your interest in our work!
Fake window? - Is that a fake window? We are doing an extension with wall that will abut
my daughter's room making her window no longer to the outside. Thinking of keeping it anyway. Your thoughts? »
TRG Architects This is a real window. I would not recommend keeping a window if you are building a wall up against it (for sound-proof reasons as well as aesthetics: if the shades are up the view will be that of an unfinished wall). If you don't want to bother removing it, you might consider filling it in on the bedroom side with homasote (www.homasote.com), which is both sound-proof and can function as a bulletin board. The window trim could then function as a bulletin board frame. Good luck with your project!
TRG Architects You may have figured this out already, but you cannot download photos on Houzz. You can only save it to an idea folder. Thanks for your interest in our work!
TRG Architects Sorry--just seeing this now! We custom-designed this bed, nightstand, and the rest of the built-in furniture in the room. Glad you like it!
TRG Architects A very belated Thanks! The desktop and nightstand top are made of "Chroma," a material produced by 3-Form: very cool stuff. Lots of colors and other options.
nite stand & desk top, also bed frame? - Is the desk top very sturdy? What is holding it up & what hardware did u use? Also with the nite stand as well, where did u purchase the night stand? And last but not least, how was the base of the bed made? I guess no mre box springs, & is all the extra lighting due to " BLUE rope lights?". PS this room is one of my 3 sons DREAM ROOM? THANKS FOR THE HELP. Were starting tomorrow with buying the paint, shopping for flooring, lites, wood. Oh did you paint or stain all the trim & wood threw out the room. Also ,most important question is how did u do the cloud ceiling??? What a beautifull room weve ever seen. Can u come here and help us. Haha.have a great day.thank you so much. TRG Architects OK: your son's room is probably completed by now--so sorry! I didn't realize I had a backlog of Houzz questions waiting for me. First off, I'm glad you like the room: thank you! We really enjoyed working on this one. All of the built-in furniture is custom designed by TRG. We painted the former white trim a charcoal color and the ceiling was done by our muralist. The lighting in the toekick is LED strip lighting. Not rope lighting, but a raw strip of LED. The bed is a platform-style bed. No boxspring. If you have a chance, I'd love to hear how your project turned out!
TRG Architects I'm sorry: I'm just seeing this now. The muralist works through TRG. I can't remember the price for this one off the top of my head. If you want to contact me to follow up here's my e-mail: leslie@trgarch.com. If you still want a custom nightstand, I'd be happy to help. Again, my apologies for the delay!
melanielaessle Is it possible to get an actual picture of this wall mural? My son is not a Yankees fan, but we could use this mural for ideas for our home team (Texas Ranger fan). We are also interested in info on the nightstand. Can you help us?
L Star Murals There are several talented muralists that have profiles on Houzz. I think you can do a search based on location to see who might be closest to you!
Perhaps this child will be the next Roy Hobbs (the baseball prodigy in The Natural). As he or she lies in bed staring at the sky, dreams of hitting that game-winning home run can fill his or her head. How sweet and inspirational is that?
This New York Yankees–themed room has street style, incorporating some graffiti tagging. It also brings the stadium feeling with a grass-like shag rug and a ceiling painted like the sky.
this is a great boys room, I love the lighting under the bed, the mural is beautiful, I will adopt the lighting for my sons room as he loves cars, we might add some hub caps to the end of the bed and paint race car track behind the bed. Thanks for the design idea.
