geo55 Yeah, I really love this fixture. I still haven't decided if it is right for my kitchen. Feels like it's better for a hallway or boudoir. I think maybe this lantern (from Wisteria) might be better...but I am not good with judging size and what would look right until the thing is actually up!
You've really got to make sure the size is right...difficult to judge from a photo. Imo, this could be too small for your space. It is more tall than wide...but I can't really tell from the picture.
One hates to make a mistake! We need some good designers to help us, lol.

Susan Lamont I do love that picture you posted. Funny, but I have similar light fixtures on my stair landing and foyer, which can be seen from the kitchen, so I would hate to put another one up like it. I think you're right, though. This fixture is probably too small. I think it would look cool over my bath tub, though!!!

MelissaL Great idea! I am planning on using very similar "tent and bag" chandeliers over my island and was also wondering what to put over the kitchen table! I think I have my answer now! Any other ideas?
