tightspot Multiply the length of your curtains by .618 to determine the "golden mean" -- the level at which you should install your tiebacks. For example, if your curtains are 95 inches long, multiply 95 by .618 to get 58.7 inches. measure 58.7" down from the top of the curtain panel...this is where to install the hold back, on the wall.

Like the idea of a curtain as partition but it would be closed all the time. We need to partition the opening where the front door opens into living room and you can look straight thru house into the pool area.
