Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co. Enlarging the photo does indeed show that there is no switch cover and the switch is hanging out a bit. Perhaps the switch is broken and is waiting for the electrician or perhaps the switch is awaiting a switch plate. :) Rhoda
Anne DeCocco Gray is really hot right now. Even I like it and it's always been one of my least favorite colors. The other day I saw a soft pink leather settee in a gray room. I melted. So pretty. But almost every color goes well with gray!
jennboudreau Thanks. Those are nice options. However, I was referring to the one on the wall that is alongside the door. I am looking for a lantern that can hold candles. Thanks for you response.
Make a plain clock special by hanging it in an unexpected spot and placing it in an ornate vintage picture frame. I like the idea of putting a clock in an entry hall; it greets you as you come in and sends you off when you leave.
So many elements are working to make this entry feel worldly: the parquet floors, lantern-like light fixtures, dark wood moldings and off-white walls, the radiator, not to mention the sparse styling.
Decorate it. When your radiator isn't being used in warmer weather, try working it into a vintage-styled vignette. The antique-looking phone, frame and clock really work with the look of the old radiator.Do you have a great design for your radiator? Please show us in the Comments below!More: Iron It Out!
