Abbott Moon The bath towels got rolled up and stored on the lower shelf, and there are 2 custom medicine cabinets for products. The bathroom was designed for 2 small boys so there wasn't much storage to contend with. Plus, the house is quite large, with a full size linen cabinet and walk in closets in each room.
jwbrown The sink is a Kohler Brockway. It is not discontinued. It is under their commercial line so you need to search for it. The faucets are specifically for that sink and they are called "Cannock".
Annie Thornton Unfortunately there's no quick fix to cleaning the mold out of grout line. For tough mold that doesn't leave with a simple shower cleaner, put on some heavy-duty rubber gloves, then get to work scrubbing with a mixture of bleach (about a quarter cup) with water (a quart) and some detergent (make sure the detergent DOES NOT contain ammonia, as when it combines with bleach it releases a poisonous gas). Use your scrub brush all over the area to be treated, and let the liquid sit on the tiles for an hour for the best results. After washing clean, your grout lines should be free of mold. Finally, apply a grout sealer to ensure easier cleaning in the future.
4. Promote the utility sink up from mudroom duty. Here the designer has taken a wall-mounted utility sink and paired it with a counter, elegant fixtures, and sophisticated penny tile. The result is an unexpected mix.
A feature wall behind the sink really makes a statement, and involves less square footage than a tub wall. Installing mosaic tile like this makes such a statement that you can feel free to tile the rest of the bathroom in a more affordable, basic tile and still not feel like you gave anything up!
This is a unique, slightly more modern installation example of the same sink. The addition of counterspace and a shelf underneath make this a preferred installation for many homeowners looking for more storage than the wall-mount version offers. Even though there are two faucets, you can easily do one large mirror rather than two.
4. Choose a big sink. If your bathroom has the space, consider a large trough sink instead of double sinks. The larger sink is able to accommodate more hands at once and is quicker to clean.
Like this idea of tiling and making a shelf under the sink (but with a different tile type / color / pattern) to match the tile that would be in the shower stall.
For the kids- Wide sink for 2 and open minimalist tiled shelving- 1) enough for bath toys etc; 2) kids can put things away since its open shelving; 3) no worries about water rotting cabinets 4) there's enough space underneath to keep step stools!
