The Impatient Gardener The pendants are from Roost. I got them at Velocity Art & Design, but I have seen them in other places. Just do an Internet search for "Roost cylinder glass pendant" and you should find several sources.
The Impatient Gardener It was custom made. I had them put sliding doors in it on the part against the back wall and there a ton of storage in it. It obviously isn't the easiest to get to given that I have to crawl under the table to get it to it, but it's good for those once-a-year linens, etc. It was incredibly reasonably priced ... I think I just found a good cabinet maker who charged a very fair price. I painted it myself which also helped to bring down the cost.
The Impatient Gardener Sorry for the late reply on this. The cushions don't slide around at all and I don't have anything under them to keep them from sliding. The fabric is a microsuede so they would probably slip if I had a smoother fabric on them.
Such a cozy banquette. What size table did you use and what are the dimensions of your benches (just length)?
BTW, love the bult-in shelves.
Thanks

The Impatient Gardener Sorry for the late reply on this. I didn't see the question until now. I'll have to measure the banquette to be sure, but I would guess it's about 85 inches long. The table is 60 inches long (it was a table from the Restoration Hardware outlet that I cut down to fit). I can get an exact measurement on the banquette and reply again. Thanks for the nice comments.
heidiruckel Thank you for the response. I just completed the banquette for my client (the bench length was 76 inches and we did a 60 inch World Market Table).
Love your Banquette! - I love how your seating area is set up. My Kitchen eating area is Similar to yours. I was just wondering if you don't mind me asking how much that cost you to build the seating area? We are remodeling our kitchen and This is the idea I had in mind. »
love the colorful pillows and the bench with storage underneath.
not crazy about the table or chairs, or the lighting above. and the window dressing is a no-no.
