This beautiful Victorian house near the downtown of Palo Alto was built in 1895 by A.W. Caulking and is classified as historical building. Despite numerous owners and remodeling, special attention was giving to preserve its original Victorian façade and historical value. The design team proceeded with the major interior remodeling in an attempt to bring the modern and cozy living to this charming century old Victorian house. The kitchen is a true contemporary through its colors and elements. The slim lines of European ALNO cabinets; the combination of colors, creamy yellow, vanilla and charcoal grey offers bright yet intimate feeling of a modern kitchen; Ocean blue glass mosaic tile backsplash gives the acid washed lime stone counter top a balanced look. Changing ceiling heights in different areas so the kitchen feels open and interesting, Daylight fills the kitchen through skylights and carefully arranged lightings high lights each elements. Glass panels divide kitchen and family
