Rustica Hardware You can save money and install this yourself. Our barn door hardware comes with instructions that are easy to follow. This is Industrial Barn Door Hardware (see attached image). If you don't have a door, a door can be ordered and comes as a kit that you assemble yourself. It usually takes about 15 minutes to assemble. HingeHeads Home Decor This door is great. It's functional and adds to the rooms decor. One can always add a hook on the inside to lock it. Or establish a rule that when the door is closed, it is occupied :-)

mgeiser Lowes and HD both carry hardware. The rustichardware stuff has more options and looks nicer. I'd rather pay a few extra bucks since I'm only going to buy this stuff once. (I hope)

I love this door...it would be fun to add something like this to hide your washer and dryer away. Would have to work out the design details. Not only would it be a decorative design detail very appropriate to your design aesthetic, but also very functional to hide the appliances.
