Ronique Gibson The doors look like they are 2'-0" to 2'6" each, to give a 4'- 5' total width opening. If I count the floor tiles, I'd estimate this pantry to be about 5'x5' clear floor space - probably 6' to the walls behind the shelving.
A corner pantry sounds great, remember to assess how much you have to store and if you you will have clear space around the pantry doors to access it freely. (So that you factor in 1'-2' free area around the 4'x4' area, so you aren't bumping into adjacent walls, counters, etc...)
If you have a pantry, look for space where shelving could be added either in the pantry or near the entrance, to accommodate that ever-expanding cookbook collection.
7. If it's pretty, show it off. My mom always said, "If you can't fix it, feature it." This saying is so apropos here. Pantries are not typically thought of as really beautiful spaces. But why not create one that you're willing to show off? Simple white shelving, pendant light and a set of French doors makes this pantry a showcase.
interesting. bookshelves for cookbooks, pretty pottery etc, lead glass window at top, feels light and airy-no too heavy, maybe pretty paint or paper at back of shelves
