We wanted our daughter's nursery to be feminine but not pink. We also wanted her to be able to grow into the space for awhile without redecorating. It's a small space with 5 walls (one angled), so furniture arrangement was a challenge.

nbwilson I drew the vine on paper and then used a projector to project it on the wall and painted it free-hand with a small brush (I had a small container of the wall color handy in case I needed to touch up). I borrowed the projector from a friend, but I hear you can purchase them reasonably inexpensively at a craft store. If you use small brushes, you can probably still get good results on a textured wall.
nbwilson The lines are ribbon - they are attached at the top with the flowers, which push into the wall with a tack on the back. At the bottom the ribbons tuck behind the letters. The letters are held on with double-sided tape (it came with the letters from the manufacturer). Hope that helps!
