angishee Thanks for your reply! Just in the early stages of our kitchen remodel (live 35 miles s. of Chicago). I started noticing MANY of my photos in my ideabooks are your designs. Love everything I see! My budget doesn't allow for custom cabinets...looking at Medallion and Diamond cabinet lines with a maple shaker style full overlay door in a shade of white and a 3x5 ft island in an expresso or walnut stain. I'm worried a solid white/off white cabinet in my price range might look cheap. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

mtroyal87 Hello, I have been keeping this picture for inspiration for 2 years now and we are ready to remodel the kitchen. What type of wood and stain are the cabinets?
Thank goodness for pot racks. If you have a smaller kitchen, or a kitchen that just didn't come with any wide cabinets with roll-outs, a pot rack is the perfect answer. It can be a ceiling pot rack or a wall mounted bar style or shelf style one. The addition of this one accessory will free up so much storage in your kitchen.
7. Neutral palettes: Classic kitchens don't have to be all white. This kitchen mixes stained and painted cabinetry, and even though the "white" cabinets have a glaze, the simple door style (shaker with a bead moulding) keeps it from going too traditional. The subway tile here has a bit more color than the classic white that's so popular, but it's still a classic.
Kitchen - I like that the backsplashes add some color to the already white countertop. I do feel that this kitchen seems cluttered and seems designed that way
