Rebekah Zaveloff | KitchenLab We purchased them at Lightology quite a few years ago, not sure they still have them. If you contact them and show them a picture they should be able to tell you.
I guess when you ask a question you may not always get the answer you were hoping for but I know your right. Is that your kitchen in the picture? If not, I would like to see how yours turned out if you have a before and after. Was the cost based on size and ??.
Sorry, I've only seen pictures and there's no one to get a quote from.
He wouldn't happen to live in Regina maybe?
How did you find your guy?
ljak I've seen beautiful concrete countertops done by homeowners and by professionals. However, I have first hand experience with a so-called professional in SK, Canada who massacred our new sink cabinet and cracked the concrete installing it, and never came back to put the final sealer on or repair the concrete or the cabinet. We are in Prince Albert, SK and will be starting legal proceedings if we do not hear from the company soon. Get many references! And research the pros and cons of concrete before making your final decision.
if you paint the glass backsplash a colour other than white (say red), will the colour come through as a true red or will the blue/green come through as well? »
Molded plastic stools. Plastic is another favorite material when I'm looking for style and practicality. They clean up in a breeze, and white always helps brighten up a darker wood kitchen.
2. Sheet glass and backpainted glass. Full-height glass backplashes are a wonderful way to get a minimal, bright and clean look, and they're so easy to clean! This glass is painted on the back with a white paint, but the color the glass throws is always a bluish-green.
Sleek bar stools and pendant lights are consistent with modern style, but this modern kitchen is in a Victorian home complete with leaded glass windows and arches with columns. There's no rule that says the architecture and the kitchen have to both be modern — hundreds of century-old apartments and farmhouses with modern kitchens in Italy, France and Spain can attest to that.
