David Johnston Architects The structure was designed with all of the stone in mind. The two stone piers that are visible in this photo extend all the way to the ground, they are visible in one of the other photos.

Note construction of deck posts (stone base with wood post going up), this on our bottom level deck/patio. The flagstone could work too.
