The floors are described as marble with oak but the Kitchen Lab website describes them as limestone. Can you clarify which material you used? Is one better than the other? Thanks. »
mitsy just looked up gold sand classic on material marketings website, looks very beige to me, that suits the calacatta marble on counter tops ? we are also interested in using this concept for our flooring, distressed white cabinets with marble counter tops and polished nickel faucets & hardware, would this beige flooring also suit our style? or can you suggest another floor colour? also, what is used for the pickets colour?
bepsf You could use just about any color stone and wood stain - just bring your samples with you to help you visualize and aid you in making the best selection for you.
When I first spotted this example it I mistook it for a very chic bathroom. Upon a closer look I realized it was a kitchen! The highly contrasting color story, along with the classic and bold detail choices, which include a box beam ceiling, add up to a dramatic space indeed. And did you notice that the far wall is lined from floor to ceiling with glistening subway tile? Wow...
E dry thing about this--kitchen floor design, marble in butlers, dark wall in butlers, ceiling details.. Especially swing door design with heavy silver accents and slim profile
