18th century Dutch/Flemish style tavern table in alder wood with a solid turned pedestal and three legs; it has two understretchers to strengthen the top. Heavily distressed, 1” thick plank top with a butterfly repair, and crackle paint/rub through paint on the pedestal and legs. The top is finished with a low VOC, moisture resistant acrylic lacquer. The whole piece is bedded with a dark wax to complete the patina. Top diameter: 36”; overall pedestal diameter: 6” overall footprint: 22” diameter. Overall height is 32”
