Peter Rose Architecture and Interiors As long as you make your top trim thicker than your main body it will work. If you are using a 1/2" flat stock, then you can use a 5/8" on the top or if you want more of a shadow line even 3/4". The best thing to do would to be an initial mock up and see what you like best. Let the top trim overhang 1- 1.5" at each end.
