Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co. Fortunately, this photo has been tagged with the microwave manufacturer, a GE profile countertop microwave. Click on the photo and you'll see a green tag at the bottom. Put your cursor on the photo and you'll find the tag. Although this is a typical installation of a countertop microwave, it is not one of the recommended installation types by the manufacturer. :) Rhoda

counter top microwave - Our old microwave needs replacing. It is an old GE Monogram counter top with trim kit. It fits within the upper cabinets that ate 12" deep. We have not been able to find any microwaves now that are that depth, always much deeper. We would like to keep it in the same place so it doesn't take up counter space. We like sleek contemporary lines, probably stainless steel. Any help with a sleek, not too deep microwave? »
2. Clean the microwave. This is often forgotten, but it can be pretty embarrassing to have someone offer to help warm up food and see a gross, food-splattered microwave.

wall that surrounds the counter and cabinet area to the left -- consider this as an option for our kitchen by the doorway? I think it will close off the line of sight too much though...
