Rebekah Zaveloff You can't completely keep marble from staining or etching, it's just the nature of the natural material that it is. It's porous and soft. If your counters are polished, they might show more flaws, so honing them is always an option.

cecf You should clean and reseal every year or two. I have light marble counters in the bath and kitchen and they still look gorgeous 6 years later. Marble will last forever with just a little care!

Anne DeCocco Sorry--I didn't mean the name of the paint is "just white." I mean that it's White. Most cabinet makers will have a white finish as a choice and I believe that this is what the color is. If it's a custom white, then my guess would be that it's a white base with one drop of black mixed in (by the paint store). We call that B1. It's a white with no other undertones. Looks great.
