Mercedes Corbell Design + Architecture Hello
I used a hollow core door from the lumber yard, cut to the length. 36" wide door is nice- can fit "stuff" at the back and still have space for laptop etc at the front. But even 24" wide door would work. You can order the door with no door hole, but I had extra ones bored- use for feeding cords through. Order it "primed" (painted with a coat of primer) and then you can paint it. This one was painted with a roller after it was installed. All very inexpensive and easy. Good luck!
Pick a pattern. This daybed was selected for its patterned motif and cozy enclosure."The room's saturated turquoise-blue color is a surprisingly relaxing backdrop for a space designed for lounging, listening to music, visiting with friends, reading or just taking a nap," says designer Mercedes Corbell. Daybed: West Elm
One trend I have seen quite a few times in recent months is what I'll call the stow-away office. Here a desk in a closet, with doors removed, is neatly maintained and integrates nicely with the overall room decor.
