Custom Home Planning Center to many variables to give an answer I design my bathrooms as wet rooms with all floor areas going to a linear wall drain so it doesn't matter.
Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design These appear to be like most subway tiles which come in a standard 3x6" size. The row at the bottom is made of 6x6 tiles, which they added kind of like a baseboard.
The piece at the bottom is called a base cove and is curved at the bottom and acts as a base moulding. The field tile is a 3x6 with a flat, black pencil liner as a "belly band" around the space. Just a detail. Nice design, it looks classic. Hope that helps. Charmean Neithart
Really like the 1/2 in pencil going around the room. Also like the pattern at the base of the wall on the floor. It wouldn't work in our bathroom, but still cool.
This is exactly how we could do the bathroom with the standing shower at the end of the bathroom, open like this w maybe some extra glass to make it even prettier. And some extra color in tiles but def the floor, and use one of those crownmolding subway tile tops .
